About twenty years ago, Michael and Mary Martin, nationally recognized Certified Financial Planners, saw the need for a good, practical system for record keeping. They spent the next two years developing the Homefile system to be comprehensive enough to cover every piece of paper, yet simple enough to use.

prices Prices are subject to change.
sales tax A 5.0% sales tax is applied to orders shipped to Maryland.
shipping During the order process, the total cost of goods, the cost of shipping and sales taxes (if applicable) are clearly displayed. We ship via UPS Ground to the Continental United States. These orders cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box and must have a street address for the shipping address. Orders mailed to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and APO/FPO addresses are sent via Priority U.S. mail and may be sent to a P.O. Box. We do not ship internationally. We make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours. All orders are processed within 1-3 business days and should arrive within 8-10 business days.
order confirmation You will receive an order confirmation via email within 24 hours. Please enable your computer to accept email from homefile.com.
order status You can check on the status of your order through the link in the shipping confirmation email.
returns Of course, we strive for 100% satisfaction. If you are unhappy with our products for any reason, you may return the items in their original condition for a refund or credit within 30 days of receipt. Shipping charges will only be refunded if the return is due to our error. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice. After a return has been received, it will take 1-2 weeks to process. If using a credit card, refunds will be credited to your account. If paying by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you. We suggest using UPS or insured Parcel Post for your protection.
incomplete orders/missing parts If your order is incomplete or a kit is missing a part, please contact us at customerservice@homefile.com or

payment We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
gift orders Gift orders will be sent with a gift receipt that states the giver's name and hides the prices. A gift message and any special instructions may be entered during the order check out process.
